Appendix In The Waist Band carry is one of the most efficient methods of carrying a concealed firearm. During this course you will learn to avoid the common pitfalls associated with AIWB carry as well as options for deploying your firearm from this position as efficiently as possible.
This is not a basic level course. Participation in our Technical Pistol Skills or another fundamentals-based pistol course is a prerequisite for attendance to his course. Please contact us with any questions prior to registering.
In addition to the fundamentals of marksmanship some of the topics covered during this course will include:
Efficient draw and holstering methodology
Sustainable training strategies for AIWB
Personal protection advantages of AIWB
Gear review and selection considerations
Carry and deployment while traveling in a vehicle
Required equipment:
Range fee - $25, due the day of class. (Members of PBR are exempt)
Semi-Automatic handgun.
Minimum of 3 magazines for your pistol.
Open top, non-collapsing holster and at least one magazine pouch, carried on belt line and designed for the AIWB position.
Belt suitable for securely supporting all necessary gear on the shooters belt line.
400 rounds of ammunition.
Recommended:
Multiple outerwear garments of your choice. example - hoodie, wind breaker, heavy coat.
Under Armor style compression shirt or rash guard for use under concealment garment.
Protective gloves.
Note taking material.
Open mind and a positive attitude.
Course registration requires full payment (online/check/cash payments accepted) in order to secure your spot. The cancellation policy is as follows:
If the course registration does not meet the required number of students within 7 days prior to 9/22/24 or we have to cancel for any reason at all then a FULL refund will be offered to you or you may opt use the tuition credit to attend a future course.
Cancellations confirmed for any reason up to 9/15/24, as outlined in the individual course description, will merit a FULL refund. Cancellations confirmed after 9/15/24 will merit NO REFUND. However, you will be allowed to apply a credit for tuition to attend another course within 6 months of the original class date, 9/22/24. Failure to register and attend a course by 3/22/25 will result in a forfeit of your tuition.
Cancellations will only be received and confirmed though submission of our Cancellation Form on our website. Emails and/or any other forms of messaging will not be accepted for course cancellation.
*Special Note: Once a course has SOLD OUT, registration for that specific course will close. If you cancel any time AFTER course registration closes you will NOT receive a refund, regardless of the timeline, due to marketing being discontinued for the SOLD OUT course.
